Yayoi Japanese Teishoku Restaurant

Yayoi Japanese Teishoku Restaurant

By Sarah

Yayoi is a Japanese Teishoku Restaurant that serves different types of Japanese dishes, which include teishoku (meal set), udon (noodles), à la carte (individuals dishes), sushi and desserts.  The dishes that I would recommend are Pork Loin Katsu Teishoku, Wagyu Niku Udon and Teriyaki Chicken Teishoku.

The Pork Loin Katsu Teishoku is a set meal that includes fried pork cutlet, rice, steamed vegetables, salad, Tonkatsu sauce and miso soup. I recommend this dish for people who like fried pork, as the Pork Loin Katsu is very crispy and crunchy. And for people who like sweet sauce, as the Tonkatsu sauce that complements the Pork Loin Katsu, is a Japanese style barbecue sauce.

Wagyu Niku Udon is a noodle dish that includes udon noodles, wagyu beef and slow cooked egg. I recommend this dish for people who like udon noodles and people who likes drinking warm broth.  The udon dish contains wagyu beef that is tender and moist, which matches the thick and chewy udon noodles.

Teriyaki Chicken Teishoku is a set meal that includes chicken thigh fillet, rice, steamed vegetables, salad, Teriyaki sauce and miso soup. I recommend this dish for people who like Teriyaki sauce and people who like chicken thigh fillet. The Teriyaki sauce tastes sweet and sour, and is made of soy sauce and honey. The chicken thigh fillet in this dish is moist and chewy, and the chicken thigh fillet is a great match to the Teriyaki sauce.
