Holy Basil Laos & Thai Restaurant

Holy Basil Laos & Thai Restaurant

By Sarah

Holy Basil is a Laos & Thai Restaurant that offers different types of Laos & Thai food, for example appetisers (spring rolls, skewers), seafood dishes (fish, prawns, snapper, crab, calamari, mussels), grilled dishes (pork sausages, BBQ beef, charcoal chicken, lamb cutlets), curries (masaman curry, red curry, green curry, panang curry), salads, stir fired dishes, soups, noodle dishes, rice dishes and desserts. The dishes that I would recommend are fresh crispy snapper and mango salad, roast duck red curry, and Holy Basil fried ice cream.

Fresh crispy snapper and mango salad is a seafood dish that includes fried snapper fish, mango salad (green mangos, coriander, mint, lime juice, sugar and fish sauce). The mix of fried fish and fresh mango salad is very refreshing and interesting, as the mango salad tastes sweet and sour. I would recommend this dish for people who enjoy sour flavours and fried fish.

Roast duck red curry contains premium roast duck, lychees, pineapple, cherry tomato, sweet basil, fresh chillies, and kaffir lime leaves. This curry dish is suitable for people who can eat mildly spicy flavours and I recommend this dish for people would like curry and duck.

Holy Basil fried ice cream is a signature dessert at Holy Basil, and the fried ice cream contains ice cream wrapped in pastry, special caramel sauce and coconut crunchies. I recommend this dish for people who enjoy desserts and like sweet foods.
